I want to thank Ibwe Imbokodo Women's Trust for organizing an amazing Christmas party for the orphans and vulnerable children at Good Shepherd Children's home. This was a challenging year for us as management as we experienced a sharp decline of visitors and donations. We were worried about
what we were going to do. When the Founder of Ibwe Imbokodo Women's Trust, Chantelle contacted me about wanting to do a party for Good Shepherd I leaped with joy and on top of that they donated school shoes and toiletry kits.
The atmosphere the Ibwe Imbokodo team brought was fit for royalty. There food was amazing and the Gospel DJ made everyone get off their decorated seats and danced. We are happy that now
every child will go to school
with new school shoes, which is a miracle on its own.

I write to thank you most sincerely for donating school shoes and satchels for our school going children and 2 satchels, shoes and underwear’s for our two young babies which we received on the 1st of September 2023.
We are encouraged, and feel greatly privileged by your support. It is through the generosity of individuals like yourself, that we are guaranteed to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere for all the children in our care. Especially after the fire incident we faced on the 17th of August which burnt all of the children’s property. My only hope is that individuals from the community and various organizations will assist us to continue in our work at the Home.

One of my best events to date was at Youth Day hosted by Ibwe Imbokodo. The event was super organised and the team made sure the kids were well catered for on the day. As the Host DJ, seeing those young people dancing, laughing and getting out of their comfort zones was one of the most amazing sights my eyes laid upon. May you continue with the great work you are doing and you proved the statement that says, “Every Child, Is Your Child” true. May God bless you so you continue to do more!
